On each of the 29 Vodafone Passport partner networks, you can call Belgium (or a local number)1 at the same rate as in Belgium2 plus a connection charge of €0.99 per call in zone 1 and €1.99 in zone 2.


Receive a call abroad
To receive calls on one of the 29 Vodafone Passport partner networks, you only pay the connection charge of €0.99 per call per 10 minute segment3 in zone 1 and €1.99 per call per 10 minute segment in zone 2.

Starting 1 September 2007, Proximus is aligning its rates with the new European regulations, and offering you the Eurotariff option.

The rates applicable under the Eurotariff option as of 1 September 2007 are as follows :

1. Calls made from any of the European Union countries: €0.5929/min*.
2. Calls received in any of the European Union countries: €0.2904/min*.

Rates include VAT.
Proximus did not want to wait for the new regulations to offer advantageous roaming rates with the Vodafone Passport option. You can already benefit from these advantageous rates now by subscribing to the free Vodafone Passport option, which enables you to call from abroad at the same rate as at home.

Does this situation sound familiar ? You are on a call and another person is trying to get hold of you at the same time. The second caller is diverted to your Voice Mail, as in the default mobile phone set-up. The more intensively you use your mobile phone, the more often this happens. A great nuisance, especially if the second caller is making an urgent or long-awaited call. With this in mind, Proximus has developed its ProxiComfort service for hard-pressed people. This facility allows you to take two calls simultaneously.

ProxiComfort offers you :

1. A second-call signal. Whilst you are talking, you will hear an audible tone indicating a second incoming call.
2. The complete freedom to decide how to respond to the second caller :
   
   1. To terminate the first call and transfer to the second one: press 1 on your keypad, then confirm.
   2. To place the first caller on hold and answer the second caller or send a call: press 2 on your mobile phone, then confirm.
   3. To ignore the incoming call: either press 0 or do nothing and the call will be diverted to your Voice Mail

The charge is nothing to worry about : a mere € 2.50 per month, including VAT.

Pay with your mobile phone

Did you think that paying with your mobile phone was something from science fiction? Well, not any longer, now that Proximus offers m-banxafe. This application allows you to make banking transactions with your mobile phone. The only thing you need to do is to ‘link’ your mobile phone to your bank account. Once this operation is performed, you will be able to pay with your mobile phone, check your account balance, look up the last payments made with m-banxafe and reload other people’s Pay&Go card via 1-2-ring.

M-banxafe enables you to use new services with your mobile phone. Moreover, activation is very simple and completely free.
The activation procedure is explained to you step by step below.

You can link one SIM card to each bank card. So if you have a bank account with two bank cards, you can link two SIM cards to it.

1. You need a Proximus SIM card displaying the m-banxafe logo

2. Link your SIM card to your bank account

STEP 1 on your handset : Activate your SIM card for m-banxafe

1. Go into your mobile phone’s Pay&GoMenu and select ‘m-banxafe’. To know where to find the Pay&GoMenu on your mobile phone, click here (PDF).
2. Select ‘Management’ and then ‘Activate service’.
3. Next enter an m-banxafe PIN code. This is a 4-digit code that you select yourself (it does not necessarily have to be identical to your PIN code or your bank card code).
4. For security reasons, you must enter your code twice in a row.
5. You will receive an SMS containing your m-banxafe activation reference (10 digits).
6. Take it to a Bancontact/MisterCash machine or Proximus point of sale.

STEP 2 : Link your SIM card to your bank card. This operation can be performed in two different ways.

First way :

1. Visit a Bancontact/Mistercash machine (not a self banking machine in a bank branch).
2. Put your bank card into the machine.
3. In sequence, select: Mobile phone services > M-BANXAFE > Activation.
4. Enter your mobile phone number.
5. Then enter your 10-digit m-banxafe activation reference. This reference is in the SMS that you received.
6. Confirm activation with your bank card code.
